Toi-Appe@l, un programma educativo europeo per realizzare progetti comuni, grazie alla costruzione di reti istituzionali - Formazione linguistica

TRAINING PROPOSAL

Our proposal is linked to the globalization process quick development (in educational contexts and elsewhere) and to the parallel internationalization policies adopted by the various institutions, These processes imply on the one hand opening to acquaintance and communication/interaction with private and institutional subjects present in other countries (in Europe and beyond), on the other hand creating wider and wider networks of cooperation and sharing of objectives and projects. In this framework the project and products created with ALPEC by LEND and its partners take on special significance, as it looks more and more necessary subjects operating in the educational sector are trained both to interact positively from a linguistic and communicative point of view with their partners in prospective common projects and to recognize possible hindrances to effective interaction with subjects coming from different professional cultures.
Therefore it is necessary, if we don’t want internationalization to mean standardization and suppression of cultural differences, to prepare materials allowing the highest possible number of linguistic experiences to be appreciated and safeguarded.
As a consequence, it is necessary for our project to be amplified and transferred first of all according to a geographic criterion. Europe has widened its eastern borders: one of the most widespread languages in those countries is German, one of the most widely spoken languages in Europe, both by native speakers and by nearby populations who employ it as a lingua franca. As far as Spanish is concerned, Spain is playing a more and more dynamic and central role in European educational cooperation and Spanish is spoken in a whole continent (with the exception of Brazil) European schools and Universities are more and more fruitfully getting in touch and cooperating with. Besides, due to the Euromediterranean strategy launched in Barcelona, cooperation with the Mediterranean basin educational institutions (first of all North Africa) has been progressively developed. We find it essential to promote a linguistic and communicative competence, even if limited, and an adequate cultural competence in the Arab language and culture, even if our objectives in this specific field will necessarily be distinct and limited.
Amplification and transfer should involve also the target sectors we address with our work of adaptation. In fact our activity will be addressed to linguistic and cultural training of subjects belonging to new professional fields. Transnational cooperation and common projects have been involving for years all the third sector: youth organizations, voluntary organizations. local authorities at various levels, institutions of different sectors (judicial, economic, social, political, etc.) have been joining activities of cooperation which allow the whole civil society to play a leading role in this field.
It’s to the above mentioned new needs the APPEW@L project wants to answer.
